About the Author

Ann H. Gabhart is the author of Angel Sister. She was born and raised on a farm in Kentucky, and that influences the setting of many of her books, including Angel Sister. They grew crops, as well as having a few animals, such as cattle. She began writing at a very young age and is now a successful author with over twenty published books, including The Shakers series. She loves nature, the great outdoors, and absolutely adores dogs, and currently has a few to call her own. She is married to her husband Darrell, a gospel singer, who also enjoys a highly Christian lifestyle. She loves her Lord and incorporates that into all her books. Ann and Darrell have three children- two boys, Johnson and Daniel, and a daughter, Tarasa. All are grown up and married, giving Ann nine grandchildren. She currently lives in Kentucky with Darrell, less than a mile from where she was born and raised, staying close to her roots even into adulthood.
